 A rare (unique?) opportunity to hear another voice on 9/11 January 12, 2003

David Icke's reputation precedes him to a point where reading his work in an unprejudiced way is difficult. I've tried, and can only say that this book has been a revelation.
Following on from his study of a claimed political conspiracy in books I have not read, Mr Icke pieces together explanations of the mentality behind the current government of the United States and many other countries. I have not read these, and don't think you need to: this one can stand alone. The reasons behind war are investigated, and shocking precedents in which avoidable wars have been created with enthusiasm are shown. So where does this fit in with the World Trade Centre disaster ? Well, it wasn't bin Laden, it was planned by people in the US.
This bold, crazy, impossible statement turns out to be amazingly well supported. Icke may be considered an eccentric, even a charlatan, but his research is thorough and as the book shows, he does masses of it. While doing so he has uncovered some verifiable evidence which makes it undeniable: it wasn't Al Qaeda !
While presenting this evidence he is keen to make sure his evidence is clear, easy to understand, and conclusive. Incredibly, there's loads of it, and he's thorough with all of it. If there's a criticism, it's of his frequent, heartfelt colloquial remarks and the odd 'bollocks' etc. which enables his sceptics/critics to continue to sideline him as the unorthodox he is. I find his research and presentation otherwise to be thorough, compelling, well written and utterly devastating. I find it hard to argue that he isn't, ultimately, right in his claims.
If you don't trust Bush, Blair, etc., read this book to see why you were instinctively sceptical. If you trust them and believe in the 'bin Laden did it' theory and the war on terrorism, try seeing one of the few oppositions to this theory before you support the wars. The 'bin Laden' theory is, it is revealed, weak, full of holes, hard to support, but has been repeated enough to times to force most of us to believe it - as I did.
Research as thorough and with such wide-reaching implications as this deserves a far wider audience.

David Icke's reputation precedes him and the misinformed might be hesitant to pick this masterpiece up simply because David is the author but, do yourself a massive favour and get this....things won't be the same again. Probably the most thoroughly researched and info packed 9/11 book available, this just doesn't cover the events of 9/11 but the characters involved ( political or otherwise )the background to linked event and all inbetween. This is heavy going simply because of the intricate web of factors. It's presented in an easy going style and is utterly compulsive and very hard to put down once started.
Sceptics or those who are unable to comprehend that the Governments ( yes Blair as well ) could be 'involved' will try and rubbish the content simply because David's other works have involved some hard to grasp theories. Don't be fooled, the details are logically presented, the 9/11 events unfolded and the sheer cover up exposed in a reader friendly manner.
If you have any interest in the 9/11 disaster, this book MUST be your first point of call. The only problem with it is that this book makes many of the other existing 9/11 books seem half hearted and missing something.

A definitive guide to the events of 9-11 February 15, 2005

Having always relied on the mainstream media, BBC, CNN, etc as my source of information, I considered myself reasonably well informed about world political affairs in general.Having said that, I've had a niggling gut feeling for a long time that the official 9-11 story just didn't add up, but never had the time to investigate it for myself. Then a few months ago I saw a 9-11 documentary on Sky One (about as mainstream as you can get) on which raised big question marks, such as the way the towers collapsed (like a demolition job), the way the crack flying skills to fly the planes into the towers weren't even remotely matched with the basic light aircraft flying skills the alleged hijackers possessed, etc. Then last week I stumbled upon this book and decided to give it a go to see if I could glean to new insight into the events on that fateful day. This book gives a comprehensive and detailed account all the players, government military, and non-military organizations, people, companies etc all involved, but more importantly the background information required to really understand how all the pieces in the puzzle fit together. He covers it from all angles, beginning with the background of the Bush dynasty, with its links to the bin Laden family. Then he gives the official version of events, and takes them apart bit by bit, until it reveals itself to be, as he says, a monumental lie. As the facts he presents are corroborated by at least one verifiable source, painstakingly researched, one is left with the realization that this is not just another conspiracy theory, moreover it comes as close as is possible to the sinister and sad truth of what happened that day and who was behind it. He left no stone unturned in his search for the truth.
Well done Mr. Icke, you have truly done a service to humanity with this book.

I read this book from cover to cover. Very carefully. Also very slowly for two reasons: 1 - the facts come so tightly packed that I wanted to ensure I did not miss even one of them. 2 - It is such a fascinating, mind expanding read, that every word counted. Unputdownable. Readers of other of David's books may be a little surprised. Aside from the first 20 odd pages, and a small number at the end, this book deals solely, exclusively and ONLY with publicly documented facts. Sure, David's other books are also a mine of solid, researchable facts but this book is a definite departure from "The Biggest Secret." Unlike that book there is very little personal musings here. He attacks his subjects (and the acknowledged "facts" ie. the officially sanctioned ones) like a pit bull and then, with disarming ease, rips apart the official story. Again, solely with facts, figures, names and dates. All of which is available for all to view given a little time and research. From the first moment I saw the WTC collapsing there was always a slight feeling of misgiving about the whole affair. Somethind was "out of whack" with the media story, if you will. Now I know what it was. WE WERE ALL LIED TO. On a massive scale. Don't believe me? Well, if you have only ever been exposed to the "official story" then I don't blame you. But if you take the trouble to read this book you will know that there is something VERY peculiar surrounding the events of 911. After all, why would Dubya block every effort by those agents in the FBI and CIA who still have some integrity into investigating 911. And that is true. After all, if not where is the report on what happened? This is not conspriracy theory, just do your own research into a few basic facts of physics. A good starting place would be the maximum burning temperature of jet fuel and the temperature at which steel melts. As the old saying goes, the devil lies in the detail. Read it and I'd be willing to bet money that your view of the world will never be the same again. Oh, and by the way, as David often says, don't take his word for anything. Once you have read the book then do your own research. I did, to double check much of what he said. So far the only holes I have found have been in the "official story." Actually, they're not holes. They're mammoth tunnel entrances thorugh which an entire fleet of trucks could be driven through. And I meant that quite literally.

This book is a master piece. Even a sceptic will find the comprehensive research and evidence presented very convincing. You will never watch the news in the same way again, nor will you believe anything a politician tells you. If you still believe that 9/11 was what we are told it was, this book will change your mind.
If you'd rather continue to believe what you've been told, stay clear of this book and return to your TV soaps.
