3 out of 5 stars Takes more than your average 'Educated Reader'   December 8, 2008
Asp
This book really *is* seminal and monumental in its field and also very well researched and argued. Though a major detractor to this work is the fact that the conclusions are only presented sparringly and hidden amidst mountains of research that is only of periferal importance to the reader who is not a professional political scientist focusing on exactly this field.

So if you are such a scientist this book will probably be a Five-star book to you.

To everyone else: Tread lightly!
